Health Trends

What is Health Trends?

Health Trends is an Owlet360 feature that lets you know when your baby’s overnight pulse rate or oxygen readings look different from their recent pattern. On mornings when a change is detected, a Health Trends card appears on your app homepage. Tap it to explore the full picture in your 360 tab.

It’s wellness information — not a diagnosis. It won’t tell you why a reading changed, and it isn’t a sign of any condition. If you have concerns about your baby’s health, always talk to your pediatrician.

Who can see it?

Health Trends is available if you:

  • Have an active Owlet360 subscription
  • Use a Dream Sock or a Duo (Sock + Cam)
  • Have app version 3.36 or above

What does the card show?

The card displays the metric (Pulse Rate and/or Oxygen) that shifted, the overnight average value, and a direction arrow showing whether it trended up or down compared to your baby’s recent average.

The card uses a single color — the arrow shows direction only. Neither up nor down is labeled as good or bad.

A single button — “See [name]’s trends” — takes you straight to your 360 tab for full detail.

Frequently asked questions

  • Why did I see a card today but not yesterday?
    • The card only appears when something has actually shifted from your baby’s recent average. Most mornings won’t have a card — that’s completely normal and expected.
  • Does a card mean something is wrong with my baby?
    • No. The card flags a shift from your baby’s recent average — it doesn’t indicate illness, fever, or any condition, and it can’t tell you why the reading changed. For any health concerns, please contact your pediatrician.
  • Which measurements does it look at? Why not temperature?
    • Health Trends looks at Pulse Rate and Oxygen only. Comfort Temperature isn’t included in this feature, but you can still view your baby’s temperature trends in the app as usual.
  • What do the number and arrow mean?
    • The number is the overnight average for that metric. The arrow shows whether it trended up or down from your baby’s recent average. The single color is intentional — this is not a warning indicator.
  • When does the card appear in the morning?
    • About ten minutes after your night window ends — around 7:10 am if you’re using the default 7 pm–7 am window.
  • Can I hide or turn off the card?
    • Not at the moment. The card can’t be dismissed and there’s no setting to switch it off. Since it only appears on mornings with a notable shift, you won’t see it most days.
  • Do I need a subscription?
    • Yes. Health Trends is part of Owlet360. It’s available to all Owlet360 subscribers using a Dream Sock or Duo.
  • What happens when I tap “See [name]’s trends”?
    • It takes you straight to your 360 tab, where you can see the full trend detail for your baby.
