Today’s Summary
Get a quick overview of your child's sleep patterns for the day. This section provides a summary of key trends and highlights areas where you might want to explore the data in more detail.
Pulse Rate
Your baby’s Pulse Rate Insight follows their own personal trends. A change in trend doesn't mean the levels are not in a healthy range, just different from your baby's weekly average. Your baby’s Pulse Rate will lower as they grow and develop and will change throughout different sleep states. You may find that your baby’s Pulse Rate trend changes when they might be going through a phase or experiencing some changes, which could be why they're feeling a bit out of sorts.
It’s healthy for your baby to have a lower Pulse Rate while asleep than awake. It’s also normal for your baby to have Pulse Rate variability throughout the session, as they wake and fall asleep, toss and turn or even cry. If your baby spent most of their monitoring sessions awake compared to their usual amount of sleep, you will notice a higher Pulse Rate trend. Visit healthychildren.org for more information or see your doctor for concerns.
Age | Awake Rate (BPM | Sleeping Rate (BPM) |
0-3 months | 100-205 | 90-160 |
4-12 months | 100-180 | 90-160 |
1-2 years | 98-140 | 80-120 |
3-5 years | 80-120 | 65-100 |

Oxygen
Your baby's Oxygen Saturation Insight shows their personal oxygen saturation level trends. A change in trends doesn't mean the levels are not in a healthy range, only that they are different from your baby's weekly average. Oxygen Saturation levels stay mostly steady, with slight changes during different sleep stages. Lower trends might occur if your baby isn’t feeling their best or is going through a developmental change, but levels for healthy babies should always be above 90%. If you see anything below 90%, check on your baby and consider talking to your doctor.

Comfort Temperature
Your baby’s Comfort Temperature Insight follows their own personal trends. Dream Sock helps you track your baby's comfort levels based on the temperature from the Sensor in the Sock. Big changes from their normal baseline could mean their sleep environment is a bit too warm or cool. Try adjusting the room or their snuggly outfit to help them feel just right. Comfort Temperature is not a measurement of your baby’s body temperature but rather the temperature of the Sensor when placed on your baby’s foot, and should only be used to help understand your baby’s environmental temperature.

Movement
Your baby’s Movement Insights follows their own personal trends. Dream Sock helps you track your baby's movement based on the movement detected from the sensor in the sock. Movement is tracked when your baby is wearing the sock and sensor. If your baby is awake while wearing the sock and sensor, they may have more movement than if they were only wearing Sock and Sensor during sleep.

Sleep Position
Available in the morning report, sleep position plots your baby’s time spent in three key sleep positions throughout the night. For our initial launch, we will show hours spent in the following positions: back, tummy and side. Periods of high movement or creative sleeping positions will not be counted in this graph, so the cumulative time in the three positions shown in the graph might not match the total session duration shown in the morning report summary. The text insight at the top of the graph will change according to Baby’s age and body positions, and will reiterate safe sleep recommendations from the AAP. In the future, we will add deeper insights, so stay tuned for new features in the coming months.
