Error Codes

While setting up or using your Owlet Dream Sight camera, did you get an error? Please reference the list of errors below for helpful troubleshooting steps.  If you repeatedly encounter an error, please reach out to our Customer Support for further assistance.

Please Note: Owlet Dream Sight works with dual-band routers (2.4GHz and 5.0 GHz).  

 

OC1: Dream Sight is busy

  • Please wait a few minutes and try again.
  • Ensure no other phone is connected to the camera.
  • Restart the camera and try again.

OC2: Something went wrong

  • Restart your camera and phone.
  • Ensure your app is up to date.
  • Reset the camera to factory settings and try again.

    • Press and hold the button on the back of the camera for about 15 sec, until you hear 4 tones. Then wait until the red and blue lights begin flashing before continuing.


OC3 - OC6: Technical issue with setup request

  • Restart the setup process from the beginning.
  • Make sure your app is up to date.
  • Reset the camera to factory settings and try again.

    • Press and hold the button on the back of the camera for about 15 sec, until you hear 4 tones. Then wait until the red and blue lights begin flashing before continuing.


OC7: Wi-Fi name too long

  • Your Wi-Fi name (SSID) should be under 32 characters. Shorten it if necessary.
  • Restart the router and camera, then try again.

OC8: Incorrect Wi-Fi Password

  • Double-check your Wi-Fi password and enter it correctly.
  • Try connecting another device to Wi-Fi using the same password to confirm it’s correct.

OC9 - OC10: Unsupported Wi-Fi Security

  • Check your router settings and use another supported security option.
  • Restart the router and camera, then try again.

OC11: Wi-Fi Network Not Found

  • Move your camera closer to the Wi-Fi router.
  • Ensure the Wi-Fi network is not hidden.
  • Restart the router and camera, then try again.

OC12 - OC13: Failed to Connect to Wi-Fi

  • Ensure your Wi-Fi password is correct.
  • Move the camera closer to the router.
  • Restart your Wi-Fi router and try again.

OC14 - OC16: No Internet Access

  • Restart your Wi-Fi router and check your internet connection.
  • Try connecting another device to test your Wi-Fi connection.

OC17 - OC18: Device Registration Failed

  • Reset the camera to factory settings and try again.
  • Press and hold the button on the back of the camera for about 15 sec, until you hear 4 tones.  Then wait until the red and blue lights begin flashing before continuing.


OC19: Login Error

  • Please verify your account information.

OC20: Unsupported Wi-Fi Security

  • Check your router settings and use another supported security option.
  • Restart the router and camera, then try again.

OC21 - OC22: Something went wrong

  • Restart your camera and phone.
  • Ensure your app is up to date.
  • Reset the camera to factory settings and try again.

    • Press and hold the button on the back of the camera for about 15 sec, until you hear 4 tones. Then wait until the red and blue lights begin flashing before continuing.
