What is Cry Detection?
When selected, mobile devices will receive a notification when crying is detected by the Owlet device.
Video clips can be captured with every cry detection notification you receive by selecting the “Capture a Video Clip” under Cry Detection.
How do I get cry detection notifications?
- Ensure that Cry Detection is enabled in the Notification Settings
- You can verify this by navigating to the Owlet Devices under the Account tab, selecting Owlet Dream Sight, and then Notifications.
- Ensure that your mobile device has Cam Notifications enabled
Why am I not getting CRY notifications?
If your mobile phone is not receiving notifications, check the following:
- Ensure that Cry Detection is enabled in the Notification Settings AND
- You can verify this by navigating to the Owlet Devices under the Account tab, selecting Owlet Dream Sight, and then Notifications.
- That your phone has Cam Notifications enabled on the home page
