Background audio allows you to look at other apps or lock your phone and still hear audio from your baby’s room in the background.
Simply go to the “Home” tab, click the up arrow next to your connected Cam to show the dropdown menu options (if it’s not already shown). Then, click on the little arrow next to "Cam Audio" and you'll see the options on, off or background audio.
Here’s a breakdown of your Cam audio features:
Cam Audio: On
Your Owlet Cam’s audio will play through your mobile device while you’re in the Owlet app.
Cam Audio: Background
You Owlet Cam’s audio will play through your mobile device, even outside of the Owlet app.
Cam Audio: Off
Your Owlet Cam’s audio is muted on your mobile device
