Data Questions

What information is included with Connected Care?

Owlet Connected Care includes historical information about your infant’s Heart Rate, Oxygen Saturation, and Sleep patterns. You can view this via weekly, daily, and hourly summaries, as well as charted using 10-minute averages.

How do I interpret the data?

The Heart Rate (HR), Oxygen (SpO2 or O2) and Sleep graphs chart your child’s data in 10-minute averages, while the HR and O2 timelines display hourly averages. The colored ranges on the left side of the HR and O2 graphs were carefully determined using data collected from more than 100,000 infants and children that have used the Owlet Smart Sock; as well as input from experts in the field.  These ranges will adjust based on the information you provided in the parent and child profiles, such as birthdate, prematurity, race, health conditions, and physical location/elevation. Click on the “i” in the top-right corner of the applicable graph to view a legend for each metric. Account Questions

I am having trouble signing in.

Connected Care uses the same username and password that you use to sign-in to the Owlet Smart Sock app. If you are unable to sign-in using those credentials, please contact us to troubleshoot your issue.

Why do you need my personal information, such as health and location

Connected Care takes various factors into consideration in order to provide you with relevant ranges and insights. The more information you are willing to provide, the more personalized those ranges and insights will be.

How do I know if my child requires medical attention?

If your baby is not responsive, seek medical attention immediately. Individual or infrequent events outside of normal range are not typically significant. If it is unclear, here are a few things you can do at home to ensure that your baby is okay:

1. Look for any items that might be obstructing your baby's ability to breathe.

2. Check your baby's color - if he/she is blue or purple around the lips, seek medical attention.

3. Check for signs of sickness. Oxygen may trend lower when baby is sick or congested. Try using saline drops and/or a nasal aspirator to clean out baby's nose if needed.

Connected Care does not currently support multiple child profiles, but will soon! Keep an eye out for app updates to be notified of this functionality.

Can I invite an additional account holder to access my child's information?

Not yet. The ability to invite additional family members or care-takers is coming soon.
