Which Android operating systems are compatible with the beta app?
For now, the Android launch is only for mobile devices. We will launch a tablet version in the future. The Owlet companion app is compatible with Android mobile devices with the operating systems Android 4.4 higher (KITKAT).
Where can I get the Android beta app?
Go to the Google Play store and you can download the Owlet Baby Care Android app for free.
How do I set up the Android beta app if I already have been using an iOS app?
If you already have an account through an iOS device, you can still log in with that same information to the Android app. Just download the Android app, and then log in.
How do I set up the Android beta app if I have been using the Owlet without the app?
Download the Android app from the Google Play store, and set up an account through the app. The app will walk you through the onboarding process.
Is it different from the iOS app?
There are minor design differences between the two apps, just to be in line with Google Design.
We have iOS and Android devices, can we still use the app on both?
You can still use the app on both devices concurrently.
How can I connect to wifi?
In the app, you can connect to the wifi, instead of going to the settings on your phone. Make sure that you are using the same wifi for the base station as you are using for your phone.
What do I do if I have a pop-up that says the internet is not available?
Ignore this and keep going through the onboarding process.
My screen won’t fit the entire video, what do I do?
Tilt the screen, and it will go full screen.
