5G vs 2.4G Wireless Internet

To verify you have an available (and appropriate) wireless network, start by opening your phone's "settings", and click on "Wi-Fi".



Under your Wi-Fi, look for your home network(s)


The Owlet Base Station can not connect to a 5G network. (You must also verify when using the Owlet Baby Monitor that your phone is also on the same network, i.e. not a 5G network.

**If only a 5G network is available, you will not be able to connect your Base Station to your wireless network.
